The cover image of the company’s social media pages has been altered to signal the debut of the two new Motorola phones on the market. According to reports, the Edge 20 Pro would not be available in India.
India will soon see the introduction of the Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. The company, which is owned by Lenovo, is advertising the launch on social media.
Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is likely to be a rebranded Motorola Edge 20 Lite, which was introduced alongside the Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Pro last month in Europe.
In addition to Android 11, both the Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion are rumoured to have Motorola’s own skin.
Twitter, Facebook and YouTube channels for Motorola India have been teasing upcoming Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion models.
Motorola Edge 20 specifications
6.7-inch full-HD (1,080×2,400-pixel) OLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support are among the features of Motorola’s dual-SIM (Nano) Edge 20.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC powers the phone, which comes with 8GB of RAM as standard.
Tri-camera setup with 108-megapixel primary sensor and 16-megapixel ultra wide shooter. 8-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, 30X digital zoom, and optical image stabilisation.
The Motorola Edge 20 sports a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.24 lens for selfies and video chats.
Motorola Edge 20 Fusion specifications
Exact Motorola Edge 20 Fusion specs are yet to be announced.
Nonetheless, because the phone is thought to be a rebranded Motorola Edge 20 Lite, it is expected to sport the same 6.7-inch OLED display as the Edge 20 but with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will also be equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC and 8GB of RAM.
It is not yet known what the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion price in India will be, but it is believed to be identical to the price released in Europe last month.
The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the phone was priced at EUR 499.99 (approximately Rs. 43,600). Onyx and pearl versions are also available.
As for the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, it’s likely that it’s the same device that was sold in Europe for EUR 349.99 (about Rs. 30,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, which came in Electric Graphite and Lagoon Green.
In the beginning, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion was said to be a limited-edition US-only model, the fourth model in the Motorola Edge 20 line.
A new smartphone model is expected to debut in India initially, but it’s unclear when that will happen.
