Xiaomi has released a teaser photo to indicate the Mi Mix 4’s release date. The Mi Mix 4 will be available on August 10, according to a teaser posted on Weibo on Wednesday.
This comes months after Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun confirmed the launch of the Mi Mix 4 in February.
Although no official information about the Mi Mix 4 has been released, the phone has been popular in the news for some time.
The next Mi Mix phone is rumored to include several improvements over the present Mi Mix 3 and Mi Mix 3 5G models, including an under-display camera.
It allegedly showed with the model number 2106118C on China’s certification site TENAA.
A render also claimed that, like the Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi Mix 4 could have a fully undetectable under-display selfie camera and a secondary display at the back.
However, a Weibo tipster previously reported that the upcoming Mi Mix 4 will not have a secondary display and will instead have a 6.67-inch primary full-HD OLED display.
As per the message shared on Weibo on Tuesday, Xiaomi’s August 10 presentation will also feature several new products.
These products could include smartphones, such as the rumored Xiaomi Mi CC 11, as well as the company’s forthcoming tablets. According to rumors, Xiaomi is presently developing three new Android tablet models: the Mi Pad 5, the Mi Pad 5 Pro, and the Mi Pad 5 Lite.
The event takes place just one day before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked presentation.
By scheduling its event for August 10, Xiaomi appears to be attempting to surpass Samsung and its Galaxy Unpacked event.
At its presentation on August 11, the South Korean company is likely to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable phones, as well as the Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch and Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds.
The forthcoming foldable phones from Samsung may face competition from Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 4, as the Chinese manufacturer is also rumored to be working on foldable phones.
